ContentSpin Privacy Policy

Last updated: Oct 18, 2025

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how ContentSpin ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you access or use our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image.

Usage Data: We log how you interact with the Service, including timestamps, features, device/browser metadata, and usage counts to enforce quotas.

Subscription & Billing Data: Stripe collects billing details and shares non-sensitive identifiers such as customer IDs, subscription IDs, payment status, and invoice amounts so we can allocate credits and maintain records.

Content & Inputs: Text you submit (including URLs) and AI-generated outputs may be temporarily stored to deliver results, provide history features, and improve reliability.

3. How We Use Information

To operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including processing conversions, measuring performance, and developing new features.

To enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

To manage subscriptions, credit ledgers, and payments; send receipts; and respond to support inquiries.

To communicate about updates, policy changes, and service-related announcements.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and usage records while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to support billing, dispute resolution, and legal requirements.

Subscription and payment metadata (including Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, and ledger entries) are stored as required for accounting and regulatory obligations.

Conversion inputs/outputs are stored for a limited time to improve reliability and provide history; we anonymize or delete them when no longer needed.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with trusted subprocessors and partners that help us operate the Service—such as hosting providers, analytics tools, and payment processors (e.g., Stripe)—under appropriate contractual safeguards.

We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety and that of our users.

6. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that your information receives appropriate safeguards.

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; use the Service with that understanding.

8. Your Choices

You can update account information through the Service or via your Google account settings.

You may request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting us. After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize data unless retention is required by law.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or prominent in-app alerts before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
